About
I'm the founder of Creative SEO Coach. For 9+ years I've helped creative and service-based businesses get found on Google, and now in AI search tools like ChatGPT too. Most of my clients are on Showit, so I know the platform inside out: what it does well, where it trips people up, and how to make it rank.
I grew up on a beef cattle farm in Dunedoo, a small Australian town (yes, pronounced Dunny-Doo, go ahead and have a chuckle). It's still the place I proudly call home, and it's where my love of fishing and baking comes from.
From a cattle farm in Dunedoo to SEO
I studied a Bachelor of Communication (majoring in Advertising) and a Diploma in Digital Marketing. At university I was introduced to SEO, and something clicked. Since then I've worked as an account manager on campaigns for brands like Women's Health Magazine, E! Channel, PopSugar and Business Insider. Those big names taught me a lot, but my heart has always been with small businesses.
These days I'm based in Bangkok and work with clients around the world. I've lived in Germany, Mexico and Canada and visited 42+ countries, and I share those stories in my weekly newsletter, followed by the SEO and AI updates you actually need.

SEO isn't one-size-fits-all. A brand-new website needs different work than one that's been around for years. My approach covers:
Technical Showit SEO: site structure, indexing, page speed, and fixing the common Showit SEO issues.
On-page SEO: titles, meta descriptions, headings, image file names and alt text, done for every page.
Content and blogging: keyword strategy, and blog posts that build traffic month after month.
AI search visibility: helping your business show up when people ask ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews and other AI tools for recommendations.
I'm part of the Showit beta program, so I test new features (like Showit's new publish engine and automatic WebP images) before they launch, and I know how they affect SEO.

What Qualifications Do You Have?
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Communications with a major in Advertising, as well as a diploma in Digital Marketing. More importantly I have years of experience in the SEO field, honing my skills with real-world projects.
What SEO Tools Do You Use?
My toolkit includes industry-leading software like SEMRush and Bright Local for in-depth analysis and optimization. For image compression, I rely on TinyPNG, and IMG.co offers a variety of other useful tools.
What Plugins Do You Recommend?
My site runs smoothly thanks to plugins like Cloudflare, RankMath, and Site Kit. However, I advise against overloading your site with too many plugins. For more recommendations, check out my blog.
Is Showit Good for SEO?
